Project Information: Beijing Shanshuiwenyuan Landscape Artificial Lake

Since ancient times, Chinese landscape gardens have been both a place of daily life and an expression of personal aspirations.

Water forms the focal point of the whole of this landscape project.

Total water volume: more than 8,000 tons

         Compared with the first two phases of Shanshuiwenyuan, this case has one more important natural water resource - the Empress Dowager Xiao River, and the artificial stream that meanders through the first floor of the park is still a continuation of the design of the water system of the first two phases, but in this case, a new content has been added to the design - the artificial lake; on the east side of the mountain top of the isolation of the green zone to create a water source, the water stream follows the natural terrain in the park meanders down to the central part to form a central water feature. The water stream follows the natural topography of the park and meanders down to the artificial lake in the middle of the park, constituting a central water feature, and finally flows down to the lower part of the park until it joins the Empress Dowager Xiao River, forming a complete water system.
