1, water body management aspects.

Generally speaking, when the water temperature reaches 10 degrees or more the koi start to feed and their activity increases, and this is when we have to make preparations. First of all, you can use low-power pumping facilities to suck up a small amount of pool water from the lower level and refill it with new water to reduce the proportion of harmful components in the water column, which has the added benefit of increasing the dissolved oxygen in the water. It should be noted that when filling new water, can not add too much at once, should be added diligently, less, to prevent the temperature of the water body changes too much; and then it is to check the filtration system, cleaning and replacing the filter material, and gradually increase the amount of water circulation.

2, in terms of water temperature regulation.

3, feed feeding.

Because the koi just through the hibernation period, the initial intake is not large, and the weather changes quickly in the spring, if the feeding is too large and meets the spring cold, it is likely to lead to koi indigestion and enteritis, so the appropriate baiting is very important to enhance the physical condition of the koi after wintering. The principle of feeding is: from less to more, timing, positioning. At the beginning, feed only once a day, after half a month you can feed twice a day, when the weather is bad, you should stop baiting.
