The Joy of Keeping Koi Fish

I was born into a family of carp breeders, and my father bred and raised vegetable carp for a living. I guess it was probably then that the seed of love for fish was quietly planted in my heart.

What is the joy of fishkeeping? There is nothing better than the happy mood when seeing koi and the heartfelt and sincere communication with a knowledgeable fish friend. Communication means elaborating one's own viewpoints and methods, which are often subjective and mostly based on experience. I think it is important to listen to these things and then digest and absorb them, and it is not helpful to simply copy and paste them or oppose them without thinking about them. Some people say that the spring sterilization, some people refute that the spring does not kill as well; some people say that every day to pull the tube, there are people who say that has not been pulling is also good, the generation of these completely opposite views, not only the understanding of the different, mainly in the process of their own carp breeding process in the various aspects of the different conclusions reached. In my opinion, the method of keeping fish must be considered in the context of the overall density of keeping, the size of the water body, the situation of keeping, the situation of illness, the method of feeding, the situation of entering the fish and other specific factors. Sincerity, harmony, and knowing what you're talking about, these are the things I hope for. Whether the argument is right or wrong or good or bad, it should be enlightening and improving, so that it really makes sense. After keeping fish for several years, I still aspire to keep them bigger and better, and even more so, I hope to make some good friends, because with these good friends, keeping fish is more enjoyable.

Some people may think that entering a koi competition is all about going to a competition to be better or worse, I don't see it that way at all. By competing, one can greatly improve one's eye, and the process of scoring with the judges during the tasting session in particular is a real moment of improvement. Regardless of whether your fish wins a prize or not, you are able to have a profound experience and improve. I think Koi Tasting is a kind of atmosphere, an exchange, a learning experience and a festival for all fish lovers. I don't want to win any prize one day, but I want to be able to join in the fun every time, and to improve my knowledge of Koi keeping and appreciation every time I participate.
